Project Description:
Expert Skiers engaged Marathon Engineering to expand their existing self-storage facility in the Town of Chili. Expert Skiers had purchased the lands adjacent to their existing facility and observed significant demand for additional storage units as well as exterior trailer and large vehicle storage.
Our design included a subdivision to combine the parcels of land, stormwater management facilities to treat runoff, fencing and security considerations, as well as landform design aiding in screening of the expansion to adjacent properties.
The Town of Chili Planning Board was the lead agency for SEQR and reviewed the project for conformance with their code, as well as completeness of design, stormwater management compliance and suitability for the development. Town staff was a pleasure to work with to move this project into and through construction with a professional approach assisting the developer in realizing their goals.
