Heritage Christian Services (HCS) is a thriving Human Services Agency in upstate New York that works to make sure everyone – including children, older adults and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities – feels valued and respected. Since the opening of the first group home in 1984, HCS now serves thousands through short-and-long-term care services and community programs in the greater Rochester and Buffalo-Niagara Regions.
Marathon Engineering has been the lead for several group homes for HCS. Each project is a collaborative effort to provide a permanent home for HCS residents. While each site has its own unique challenges, the design engineers work with the municipalities and utility companies for project approvals and completion. Marathon’s scope of work includes support during construction with inspections, construction stakeout and as-built surveys.
